The Horton Family
This is my AWESOME Brother Stevie and his beautifull wife Kami and their new addition Addison Marie Horton.. She was born on February 13th 2009. She is the sweetest baby EVER.. I absolutly love bein and Aunt. My brother along with my husband is my very best friend, words can never explain how special he is to me and my family. Kami came into his life and blessed us all dearly. WE love them all very much. I will post more pictures of "Addi" as I get a little more familiar with this whole blogspot thing...lol
2009 Show Season
Well, Jaci started off the year with Collin County Junior Livestock show where she showed her San Antonio barrow and was Supreme Champion overall, We were all very excited, then we went on to Ft. Worth and she was 10th, not really what we hoped for but u can't always win.. we have tried to teach her that over the last few years. Then San Antonio rolls around in February and she takes "Merlin" there and gets 5th in her class, it was a VERY sad day seeing him leave. But she made it threw it. She still misses him to this day though. Then off to Houston, where she gets 7th with her hog "Goose" and makes the sale, which was all we were hoping for..lol She decides to hang out there all week with her Uncle Bubba as she calls him and makes lots of new friends. When we finally get her to come home, we only have a few days before it is time to leave for Austin with her hog "Maverick". She gets there and after long weeks of feeding this dang thing nothing but yogurt he makes weight and she wins her class. We knew it was going to be sad when it was over since that was the last animal we had in the barn. But we had no idea she wouldn't even make it threw the champion cross drive before she broke down and began to cry. Needless to say when it was over it was a very sad afternoon for her. But she made sale and we are off to Austin again this friday for the sale. It has been a long road, but well worth it, she made the sale 4 out of 5 majors which is a big accomplishment for her. Well thanks for reading and we will keep you posted as we move on to Softball and Baseball season with Jaci and Jaxson.
